Our Beliefs

What We Believe

As a Vineyard church, we are committed to being a people of both the Word and the Spirit. We hold deeply to the authority of Scripture while eagerly welcoming the Holy Spirit’s presence and power in our midst today. We believe that God isn’t distant; He is moving, speaking, and healing right now. These core beliefs ground us as we learn to hear His voice and join Him in His work.

God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who created all things in love. God is holy, relational, and invites us to know Him personally.

Jesus: The Hope of the World

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again to bring us into relationship with God. Jesus is alive today, and one day He will return to make all things new.

The Holy Spirit: God’s Presence With Us

We believe the Holy Spirit fills and empowers us to follow Jesus. The Spirit gives gifts, brings healing, and leads us into lives of love, freedom, and purpose. At Maplecrest, we regularly pray, “Come, Holy Spirit,” as we welcome His presence.

The Bible: God’s True Story

We believe the Bible is inspired by God and tells the story of His love and redemption. We read it with humility, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us as we apply its truth to our lives.

The Church: God’s Family on Mission

We believe the Church is more than a building—it’s a family of Jesus-followers called to worship God, love one another, and bring His hope to the world. Every believer has a part to play.

The Kingdom of God: Here and Coming

We believe God’s Kingdom broke into history through Jesus and is advancing today as lives are healed and restored. But we also long for the day when Jesus returns to fully establish His reign of peace, justice, and love.
